Easy, healthy, delicious: Kale Chips

Hello! I know I've been MIA pretty much since the beginning of 2015... Oops, as usual. I apologize, but don't worry. I will never give up trying to continue this blog which is now over a year old! (Yay happy birthday EverythingKay!!!)

When the new year comes around, everyone wants to be healthy. I myself am constantly trying to stick to a healthy lifestyle, so any help I can get is awesome. Now I'd like to help you stick to your healthy lifestyle by showing you an amazingly simple recipe for KALE CHIPS. Sounds kinda gross, I know. But are they? Absolutely not!

This is what you'll need:
- Fresh Kale (must be fresh!)
- olive oil (or other oil of your choice)
- salt
- whatever spices your heart desires :) (mine usually desires a bit of garlic powder)
- non-insulated baking sheet
- enough parchment paper to cover the sheet

Let's make some kale chips!

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Break off bite sized bits of kale leaf. Try to avoid the stem as it does not dry as quickly
3. Dry leaves in salad spinner or let air dry
4. Place parchment paper on the baking sheet and the kale on top of the parchment paper.
5. Drizzle olive oil, sprinkle your spices and salt, and use your hands to toss the kale and make sure the toppings get on all of it.
6. Spread out the kale as evenly as possible and place in the oven.
7. Bake for about five minutes, then take it out and toss the leaves around a bit to bake them evenly. Then put them back in for another ten minutes or until crispy. Keep checking!

And voila! Salty, crispy, covered in oil and spices, yet much healthier than that bag of potato chips you were thinking about :)
Thanks for reading! I'll post again as soon as possible. :)
